COGS

Offers a day of activity, music, fun and stimulation in a relaxing, supportive environment for the person living with dementia whilst providing the carer with a days respite.

Each structured, planned session provides the opportunity for our club members to recall or develop new skills and to facilitate the transfer of these skills to activities at home.

Fun is the key component of the day’

We offer COGS Club @ Trinity on Wednesday and Thursday 10am to 3pm.

Lunch and refreshments are provided for an inclusive cost of £80 per month (one day a week for 50 weeks).

Activity Groups

Designed to provide a friendly, social, relaxing environment where minds can be active and experiences are pleasurable whilst providing the carer with half a day respite.

A wide range of arts and crafts, drama, singing and exercise activities are offered during these three hour sessions either 9.30am to 12.30noon or 1.30pm to 4.30pm, Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Cost includes refreshments £40 per month per session (50 weeks per year).

Peer Support

A group facilitated by our experienced team to support people newly diagnosed and in the early stages of dementia to explore shared experiences and coping mechanisms

Providing up-to-date information for people living with dementia and their carers about local services and support and how to access them.

This group can be joined at any time: we meet every fortnight Monday 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
