Children & Youth

Children's Church

We have a dedicated and flexible team of adults who look after the children during church on three Sundays a month. The children leave church after approximately fifteen minutes and are divided into three groups according to their age. We use material from Scripture Union and the CPS names: Climbers (combined with crèche), Explorers and Pathfinders for our groups.

In our groups we use Scripture Union material which contains a choice and variety of fun activities for us to use, ranging from games to eating and always includes a Bible story.

Messy Church

Sessions are held on Saturday afternoons once a month between seven and nine times per year. Messy Church values are about being Christ-centred, for all ages, based on creativity, hospitality and celebration. We have a team of dedicated volunteers who welcome the children and their parents (or whoever comes with them), lead worship, help children with their activities, organise games, provide tea and generally encourage everyone to enjoy the afternoon in a safe, caring and God-centred environment.

Trinity Toddlers

There is a warm welcome for all parents and carers of pre-school age children at our toddler group. We meet every Wednesday from 10 am – 11.30 am during the school term time.  The group is well resourced, children enjoy a lively time, and it is also an opportunity for you to meet and chat.

During the session we have free play for about an hour, followed by a time of singing, the children have refreshments and then a short time playing with, for example, large balls and hoops. All staff working in the group are very caring and experienced.
