Groups

Homegroups

These are held twice a month, meeting at a member’s home, where we can come together in fellowship, support and prayer. They provide the opportunity to catch up on news, have a coffee and occasionally share a meal together. We learn to listen to God and each other as we explore, discuss and study the Bible and share our thoughts, beliefs and our experiences.

Mothers' Union

We have 30 active members running over two groups, ages of which are from their mid-twenties to mid-nineties.   The branch is very active within the Diocese.  We raise funds throughout the year with sponsored walks, quiz nights and craft fayres with monies raised mainly going to AFIA (Away from it all) which is a holiday for families in the Diocese who are in need.

Cameo

(Come And Meet Each Other) we are a friendly welcoming group of people who meet every Tuesday.  Each week we start with tea/coffee with plenty of time to catch up with each other. We have a variety of guest speakers visiting us throughout the year  and occasionally we have bring & buy sales.

knit & natter

We meet each week making beautiful crochet and knitted items for various charities or ourselves. The group provides friendship, company, laughter and a listening ear over tea and coffee.

Thursday Bible Study

This group meets on Thursdays at 10.00am starting with tea/coffee.  Teaching, reading, and reflecting on the Bible.  Throughout the year we invite guest speakers to join us.  All welcome.

Book Club

Do you enjoy reading, why not join our book club.  We meet approximately every six weeks and come together to share our thoughts and opinions on the book we have read.  Everyone is welcome.
